A Day of Fevers....but still looking cute!!

Dylan has had a rough day today. It started with a high fever and throwing up last night and continued throughout the day. He has had a total of 4 fevers since last night and has thown up 3 times. The poor little guy has not eaten all day and has been sleeping most of the day on mommy. The trick was to keep him off of me and only on the boppy so I did not make his fever worse. I could not stop taking pics of him in his cute little towels. With each fever came cold wash cloths and surprisingly he did not seem to mind too much. As long as mommy is holding him, he will deal with anything!! There are still not any updates regarding the culture results but we will let you know when we hear anything. Please continue praying that whatever is making his body angry goes away with the antibiotics and that he can keep some of his food down tonight. Thank you all for your prayers!!

  8. I found your blog link from another one(can't even remember where now) and have been following along and praying for Dylan every day. He is just precious! He wears bath linen very well :)

Praying for God's continued grace as you and your family climb this mountain, and praying that He will heal Dylan completely. We serve a big God!

  9. Okay, Michelle--he is BEAUTIFUL! With all that he's gone through, he would have the right to look awful, but he is GORGEOUS and DARLING and PRECIOUS! What a sweetie pie.

  10. Imagine the story you will have to tell Dylan when he grows up! He will know how blessed he is to have wonderful parents like the two of you and how you two are so blessed to have such a precious gift from God! I pray now that God continually gives you strength, peace and determination as you go through this phase in your lives. In Jesus'Name, Amen!

  11. Thank you for the postings. I jump on everyday hoping to see a wonderful photo. Thanks for sharing your story and feelings. I have been following for some time. As a mom of little boys we just want to love and protect them forever. How blessed that when we get older they will be the ones loving and protecting us. Hang in there and stay strong. Faith makes things possible- not easy. You are all in my prayers.

  12. Michelle-

He's the most adorable thing!! We've been reading your blog daily and praying as a family for Dylan's healing. Our 4 & 6 year old boys pray for "baby Dylan" every night - and our small group from church continues to pray & ask how he's doing. The Lord is sustaining you in incredible ways. Stay close to Him & in His word for continued strength for the long haul ahead.
    Much love, Amy Withem
